Led two Technical Assent teams supporting the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service. The teams enhanced service delivery for the Jobs for Veterans State Grants and the Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program, improving service for over 15,000 veterans annually.

 

Led a federal agency’s PMO in implemented a new application using Agile and HCD methodologies. The application, designed with user needs in mind, improved project management efficiency and collaboration.

 

Enhanced Rios’s innovation capabilities by developing Human-Centered Design (HCD) training programs and co-authoring bespoke playbooks and toolkits. Led training workshops and encouraged open communication to foster empathy, creativity, and collaboration.

 

I designed and was the creative director for Timberland’s Abington Collection, launched in 2005. Rooted in New England craftsmanship and elevated with modern performance materials, the line grew from 5,000 to 25,000 pairs sold globally by 2012.

 

Facing rapid growth and structural stagnation, a federal research agency initiated a top-to-bottom organizational redesign. I led efforts to engage stakeholders, benchmark peer models, and craft a new structure and change strategy—unlocking higher productivity, stronger leadership alignment, and more effective management of its $1.8B R&D investments.

 

Faced with COVID-19 disruptions, a Federal Healthcare Agency restructured its supply chain from a reactive Just-in-Time model to a proactive Just-in-Case approach. I contributed by leading research, engaging key stakeholders, and co-designing with leadership the strategic solution.

 

In response to Parkinson Canada’s changing customer needs and partner expectations, I designed and co-facilitated a two-day workshop that engaged board members, staff, and people with Parkinson. The effort led to a shared strategic vision and a set of actionable business model opportunities.

 

Led a team of innovators to design a solution that improves care for children with medical complexity (CMC) and their families. The solution, centered around human-centered design principles, fosters collaboration, streamlines communication, and bolsters support networks. The impact was improved outcomes for children and reduced stress for families.
